Ground Testing

Sue Ryder have commissioned work for a ground survey of the woods. Unfortunately this has required the cutting of wide tracks into the woods, where only footpaths previously existed to allow access to machinery.

This has involved the use of diggers and chain saws. But fortunately a temporary Tree Preservation Order has been issued by Chorley Borough Council to halt any further damage to the trees and most importantly their roots.
